6:00 – 9:00 pm: Gather in Town Park for campfire and snacks; pick up agenda, field trip schedules and directions

Saturday July 26

8:30 am Town Park – pick up lunches, field trip schedules and directions; arrange carpooling, depart for field trips

12:00 noon – return from morning field trips (except as noted in field trip descriptions)

12:45 gather in town park to arrange carpooling to afternoon field trips

1:00 pm depart for afternoon field trips

4:00 – 5:00 pm – return to Bergland from afternoon field trips

6:00 pm cash bar at Gogebic Lodge Resort (20 min. drive from town)

6:30 pm – buffet dinner at Gogebic Lodge Resort

after dinner – program – Special Plants, Special Places of the Ottawa National Forest

Sunday, July 27

8:30 am Town Park – pick up lunches and directions; arrange carpooling, depart for field trips

12:00 noon – return from morning field trips (except as noted in field trip descriptions)

12:45 gather in town park to arrange carpooling to afternoon field trips

1:00 pm depart for afternoon field trips

4:00 – 5:00 pm – return to Bergland from afternoon field trips

Note: breakfasts are on your own in campground or at Antonio’s, a local restaurant, across the street from Lake Gogebic Motel and a block from the Town Park.
