Our 'First Tuesday" lecture
series will meet on 3 December 2002 in room 168 Plant Biology Bldg. at 7:30 pm. Our speaker will be Dr. Mel Koelling, MSU Forestry professor
and Extension specialist. His research interests include the biological and
economic aspects of Christmas Tree production as well as the evaluation of
alternate species for the Christmas tree market.He is also the MSU Property
manager for Outlying Forest properties as well as the 'Go-to' guy for a
wide range of woody plant questions as heard on our campus radio station WKAR -AM.
His presentation is entitled [for now]"The Natural Christmas Tree Industry:

A brief business meeting of the
MBC will be held before the program. Dr. Koelling's presentation will be followed by a plant
exchange...tis the season, you know.

building is from the north side- the Cyclotron/ Biophysical Science Building
