2003- 2004 Meetings

Tuesday, September
2, 2003. After a brief business meeting, we
will kick off our new year with a Double Feature.
Jan Szyren [and a cast of thousands] will be bringing in her
flowering Welwitschia mirabilis for our inspection. A
brief talk will be given discussing the biology of this
wonderful plant. Then, volunteers from the MBC itself will
present a series of very brief talks discussing "What I
did and where I went on my summer vacation". Consider
volunteering a few of your choice slides and offering brief
remarks about some of your favorite biotic locations.
